Il risultato \u00e8 una decomposizione parziale che porta alla formazione della torba. Questo \u00e8 <strong>un processo estremamente lento<\/strong>: si stima che si formino solo 10-50 cm di torba ogni 100 anni. Si formano in ambienti diversi, e per questo hanno caratteristiche fisiche e chimiche differenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torba_nera\"><\/span><strong>Torba nera<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La torba nera si estrae in zone pi\u00f9 profonde ed \u00e8 <strong>pi\u00f9 antica e densa<\/strong>. Contiene pi\u00f9 sostanze umificate e una <strong>maggiore quantit\u00e0 di nutrienti<\/strong>. \u00c8 particolarmente ricca di <strong>acidi umici e fulvici<\/strong>, derivati dalla decomposizione organica avanzata. Il suo pH \u00e8 molto acido, solitamente compreso <strong>tra 7,5 e 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il suo colore \u00e8 scuro (quasi nero) e la sua struttura \u00e8 compatta. Grazie al suo <strong>alto contenuto nutritivo<\/strong> e alla capacit\u00e0 di trattenere acqua, \u00e8 ideale per migliorare terreni poveri o troppo sabbiosi. \u00c8 anche perfetta per l&#8217;<strong>acidificazione dei suoli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torba_bionda\"><\/span><strong>Torba bionda<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La torba bionda \u00e8 <strong>meno decomposta<\/strong> e conserva una maggiore quantit\u00e0 di materia organica in forma originale. Ha un colore chiaro, dorato o marrone pallido. Contiene meno composti umificati e pi\u00f9 <strong>cellulosa non decomposta<\/strong>, quindi \u00e8 meno ricca in nutrienti.
